The "Top Gun" is based on a 2016 International Lonestar Semi, which builder and driver Paul Stender picked for its sleek, updated vintage design. The engine is a Pratt and Whitney F-100, directly out of a F-16 fighter jet, producing 29,000 pounds of thrust and 58,000 horsepower. This engine will be the most powerful ever incorporated into a jet truck for the airshow industry, Stender said.
